Time to get your GREEN-ON at the premier Irish Celebration, the ShamROCK Stampede Sat., March 19 at the Douglas County Events Center including a Lucky 7K, Leisurely 3.3k, FREE Kid’s 1k, Back to Health Expo & FREE Public Concert. Our mission is to elevate the celebration of St. Paddy’s Day with a family friendly Walk/ Run and Irish-themed festival to increase awareness and raise funds for organizations that help our veterans, rst- responders, and others break free from PTSD and mental illness. All proceeds bene t the Johnson Depression Center CU Anschutz Medical Campus and Colorado Fallen Heroes. See more on page 12.
The Dumb Friends League is thrilled to be gathering with you again this year to walk in support of homeless animals across Colorado at the 29th annual Furry Scurry. On Sat., May 7, join a community of people running trails, walking through neighborhoods and gaining miles on treadmills. Register for this event from > the article on page 34.
This trash pickup event will have volunteers signing up for and meeting at a speci c trail. At 8am on Saturday, May 7, volunteers can register, then go to the trailhead between 9 and 11 a.m. to get trash bags and work gloves and then pick up trash.
