Project reCYCLE nished 2018 with their Bikes for Tykes Christmas bike giveaway, which gives abused, neglected, and/ or displaced children the gift of a bicycle! Most of these children have never owned a bike before and the smiles on their faces tells the whole story of hope during the holidays! The children also received helmets, bike locks, and safety lights, which was made possible by a partnership with Elevation Cycles.
Over 35 bikes were given out at Bikes for Tykes, which caps a year where Project re- CYCLE has also given over 1,100 bikes to underprivileged students who earned their bikes through hard work in school through theThreeA’s:Academics,Attendance, and Attitude.
