tuesday, January 23, from 6:30-8:30 pm, Noel Ferre will bring us a fresh way to approach our ancestors’ lives. she will present a look at social history, from a genealogical perspective. what hap- pened in great-grandmother’s town that made her leave it? why would Uncle Ralph leave his job for a new life in a far-away state? What were the historical events that in uenced your family to end up where they are today? This is a wonderful glimpse at the past, and touches on an aspect of research that can open your eyes to amazing discoveries. Please register. Class is FREE. (possible $5 for handouts)
Every Monday the library is open, CRCGs presents an informal forumfor family researchers of all experience levels. we cover many topics, ask (and often answer) questions about websites, books, software, organization methods....whatever attendees bring to the table. If you’ve got a problem, or need help nding a mystery person, bring it to the group!
