CALF invites former
teachers and others interested
in education to help with
our “Connecting Kids to
Agriculture” educational
programs. Programs range
from Kindergarten through
fourth grades and are held April, May, September and October. Volunteers help conduct learning stations and provide program assistance in an outdoor learning environment. Our hands-on unique activities are designed to provide students with a much greater understanding of importance of agriculture in everyday life and where food comes from. In addition, CALF offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities ranging from planting and caring for gardens, helping with special events and working with livestock. For more information, please email Brooke Fox. See about Camp CALF on page 24.
