FALL READING PROGRAM
September 1 - October 31
For Grades 6-12
Fall in love with reading in our new fall
reading program that offers another chance to win prizes usually only available in the summer! Earn prizes for reading and writing reviews. Read 3 books and win the top prize and a chance at the raffle prize! You may count books you are reading for school.
You can register online at Pontiac.beanstack.org and start logging on September 1st until the end of the day on October 31st. The grand prize drawing that will take place during the first week of November.

Take it home, read what others in our community have written or sketched, add your own thoughts and creative energy, then return for the next person to enjoy. Each journal has a theme. HAUNTED MANSION VIRTUAL ESCAPE ROOM

Test your skills in a virtual escape room that’s here just in time for Halloween. See if you have what it takes to escape the haunted mansion with your lives. Register for this program ahead of time to be sent the Google Form this virtual escape room is on and tag us on social media to show us how you did.
BIG LIBRARY READ BOOK DISCUSSION Saturday, November 21 2:00 p.m.
Big Library Read is an opportunity to
read the same digital title without any wait list or holds. You could join this worldwide digital version of a local book club between November 2 and 16 using Download Destination or the Libby app to read a digital copy of Ryan La Salas’ YA fantasy novel, “Reverie.” Then join us on Saturday, November 21 for a book discussion with our Teen Services Librarian.
TRIVIA TUESDAYS
Join us each week for Trivia Tuesdays. We will host a trivia competition every Tuesday. We will use the website Kahoot to host these weekly trivia challenges.
The link to the trivia challenge will be available at 10am every Tuesday, posted in this event page and to our general Facebook feed. It will be live for responses for an entire week. We will announce who won on Wednesday morning.
