MEMBERSHIP UNION PARTICIPATION
INCENTIVE PROGRAM
The success of our union depends on all members becoming visibly active in union job actions and events. Our visible solidarity will send a strong message to public and private interests that carpenters stand united in our efforts to obtain more work opportunities, protect our area standards, and increase membership for our Brotherhood.
The objective of MUP is simple: to eliminate our non-union competition before they destroy our memberships’ quality of life, our standard of living, and our blue collar, middle class prevailing wages and bene t packages. However, ful lling your MUP doesn’t have to be just checking something off your to-do list.
MUPs are the chance for our members to get involved in real and ful lling community service that helps to strengthen our union's ties to our communities. Over the past year, members have shown their union and civic pride by heading the call to help others by completing some amazing projects across our region. These projects have shown truly what it means to be a citizen carpenter.
Because so many of our members have gone above an beyond to make the most out of their community service, we've created the MUP Incentive Program to encourage and reward members who go beyond the minimum requirements in volunteering MUP and organizing activities.
