THE STRUCTURE OF THE SELF IMAGE
The development of a realistic Self Image will seem to imbue the individual with new capabilities and new talents
~ Dr Maxwell Maltz
As we move through life, we collect information about ourselves, the world and everyone in it. All of these discoveries are stored away and can be useful in the future.
For example, if you learn that bears tend to try and eat you, this is useful information to help you steer well clear of bears in the future!
If you learn that stone caves tend to have bears in them, this is also useful information that will probably help you stay alive in the future.
At a very young age, information collected is sensory but as we develop and grow and learn a language, we are able to organize the information
