649 Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become.
650 Your Vision is the promise of what you shall one day be; your
651 Ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil.
652 The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream.
653 The oak sleeps in the acorn; the bird waits in the egg; and in
654 the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams
655 are the seedlings of realities.
656 Your circumstances may be uncongenial, but they shall not
657 long remain so if you but perceive an Ideal and strive to reach
658 it. You cannot travel within and stand still without. Here is
659 a youth hard pressed by poverty and labor; confined long
660 hours in an unhealthy workshop; unschooled, and lacking all
661 the arts of refinement. But he dreams of better things; he
662 thinks of intelligence, of refinement, of grace and beauty. He
663 conceives of, mentally builds up, an ideal condition of life; the
