487 Those who are not prepared for the apprehension of a great
488 purpose, should fix their thoughts upon the faultless
489 performance of their duty, no matter how insignificant their
490 task may appear. Only in this way can the thoughts be
491 gathered and focused, and resolution and energy be
492 developed, which being done, there is nothing which may not
493 be accomplished.
494 The weakest soul, knowing its own weakness, and believing
495 this truth - that strength can only be developed by effort and
496 practice, will at once begin to exert itself, and adding effort
497 to effort, patience to patience, and strength to strength, will
498 never cease to develop, and will at last grow divinely strong.
499 As the physically weak man can make himself strong by
500 careful and patient training, so the man of weak thoughts can
501 make them strong by exercising himself in right thinking.
502 To put away aimlessness and weakness, and to begin to think
503 with purpose, is to enter the ranks of those strong ones who
