55 and destiny.
56 As a being of Power, Intelligence, and Love, and the Lord of
57 his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and
58 contains within himself that transforming and regenerative
59 agency by which he may make himself what he wills.
60 Man is always the master, even in his weakest and most
61 abandoned state; but in his weakness and degradation he is
62 the foolish master who misgoverns his household. When he
63 begins to reflect upon his condition, and to search diligently
64 for the Law upon which his being is established, he then
65 becomes the wise master, directing his energies with
66 intelligence, and fashioning his thoughts to fruitful issues.
67 Such is the conscious master, and man can only thus become
68 by discovering within himself the laws of thought; which
69 discovery is totally a matter of application, self-analysis, and
70 experience.
