THOUGHT AND PURPOSE
460 Until thought is linked with purpose there is no intelligent
461 accomplishment. With the majority the barque of thought is
462 allowed to drift upon the ocean of life. Aimlessness is a vice,
463 and such drifting must not continue for him who would steer
464 clear of catastrophe and destruction.
465 They who have no central purpose in their life fall an easy
466 prey to petty worries, fears, troubles, and self-pitying, all of
467 which lead, just as surely as deliberately planned sins (though
