A man learns to skate by staggering about and making a fool of himself. Indeed, he progresses in all things by resolutely making a fool of himself.
One of the things that you may need to let go of in order to grow, is your insistence on doing things perfectly!
You will not do anything perfectly at first. If you can find the courage to accept this and the willingness to embrace the journey of growth, then getting good as a speaker, or anything else, is simply a matter of putting one foot in front of the other.
