SouthingtonTV Is Coming
What is already reached out about streaming their ser- missing in a vices live as well as sports leagues, teams, and
town that al- ready has a ski area, an amusement park, over 100 restau- rants? Its very own TV station! Southington TV is coming to all major platforms, including Roku, Ama- zon Fire, and Apple TV. It will also be simulcast online at Southing- tonTV.com, both live and on-de-
mand. South-
ington Magazine is proud to
announce a partnership with Rich Conway of TelevisionSyndication.com, to bring South- ington entertainment from our backyard. Roger Dietz of Southington Magazine says, “I can’t believe how fabulous this will be for Southing- ton.”
Southington TV will broadcast on-demand as well as live from downtown and feature many familiar faces. “Already, the feedback has been tremendous,” says Dietz. “Churches have
so many other town groups.”
Southington TV will be open to all town resi-
dents, municipalities, businesses, and all who live in this great town. The TV station will fea- ture originals such as a documentary on the “Legend of Leatherman” in conjunction with the YMCA, a resident spotlight, town events, sports, Southington By Air, a town-wide murder mys- tery, and many more surprises. The channel will launch in mid-September. In addition, the chan- nel will be promoted on TV networks, including ESPN, Fox News, CNN, History, and more.
Additionally, town residents can stream any event live, such as a wedding, sporting event, theater production, or anything you can dream up directly on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, and the website. There is no charge for residents.
Since the TV station will broadcast nation- ally and eventually worldwide, it will also be an excellent tool for tourism, people looking to move into Southington, or businesses consider- ing coming to town. Southington has always been unique, and this is just another example.
Let’s have some fun! A contest is underway for residents to send in short creative videos “What I love best about Southington.” All the video entries will broadcast on Southington TV, and top vote-getters will be awarded prizes. Videos need to be submitted by November 1st. Send all videos to Roger@SouthingtonTV.com. If they are large files, send them via Dropbox or Wetransfer.com.
If you would like to contribute programming or get involved, do a feature, broadcast a live event, or pitch an idea, you are encouraged to contact the team at SouthingtonTV.com through the contact form on the website.
Congratulations Southington; we’ll see you on TV.
