The four youngsters chosen were from a group that
tarted with approximately 250 and was subsequently cut own to the top 50. The 50 youngsters were screened by non-coaching committee headed by Dr. Martin Semmel, uperintendent of Plymouth Public Schools. From those 50
hey chose:

MARK MATERA – Portland High School ALLIE STANKEWICH – Guilford High School KAYLEE MOROSKY – Middletown High
The Connecticut High School Coaches Association can- not thank our sponsors enough for their contribution and sup- port of these scholarships. “The sponsors you see surrounding this article have always been outstanding people with our state, but this certainly shows just how great they really are,” stated John Fontana, Executive Director.
