PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS
Healthy philanthropic donations, partnerships and sponsorship in 2021 ensured we could remain strong and adaptable across changing learning environments to positively impact students, teachers and school communities in a year when they needed us most.
While well-funded and well-managed program budgets were a vital part of our success in 2021,
it was the power of untied funding that allowed
us to be nimble and flexible in our approach to a challenging year. This support helped The Song Room to effectively and efficiently navigate the many school disruptions and the increased support required by schools to achieve great things.
Untied support played a critical role in helping us to strengthen the organisation through investment
in our Strategic Plan 2022-2024. It allowed us
to support the ongoing changes to our operating model with strategic leadership coaching. It also provided us with the opportunity to scope new initiatives and carefully plan their implementation in order to realise our full potential into the future.
This stability was provided by multiple philanthropic donors, partners and sponsors, including our newest supporter Louis Vuitton, The a2 Milk Company, and our most enduring supporter JB Hi-Fi. Through
JB Hi-Fi’s Helping Hands program staff members themselves contributed over $200,000 in 2021. We are extremely proud of the impact that we have been able to achieve thanks to their support.
