PAGE 2Tom SchwabAaron WalkerHey Men,I can’t believe we are already in the 4th quarter of 2017. This has been an incredible year with many wins but without a doubt, there have been a few challenges along the way. The successes are rampant both personally and professionally. If there were some way for you to be a fy on the wall in each mastermind meeting you would be blown away. There are so many activities being planned and goals being established that my head is spinning. Good for each one of you and I want you to know how proud I am of you for all you’ve already accomplished this year. However, I want to shoot a fare or warning shot if you will allow me too. Be careful with spreading yourself too thin. A common denominator with all men across all of ISI is too many irons in the fre. Several months ago, when I read The One Thing for the second time, it really seemed to resonate with me. If I focus all my energy in the same direction on just a couple projects how much more productive could I be? Well, that’s exactly what I’m doing and I pray you consider the same. The 12 Week Year continues to be a major hit among many men and it’s not too late for you to get started. So, are you ready? Let’s CRUSH this 4th quarter!Big AOver the last year, I’ve noticed a common thread in many of the books we’ve read and the discussion we’ve had as a group. It’s not a mystery, in fact, I’m sure it’s been there all my life ready for me to discover it.It’s Perspective.• Victor Frankl talked about Perspective in choosing your response from the concentration camps in Man’s Search for Meaning• Ryan Holiday talked about Perspective in seeing yourself and your situation as an observer in Ego Is The Enemy • Chris Voss talked about Perspective in discover-ing what the other party wants in negotiating in Never Split The Difference,Our perspective defnes our reality and our reaction to it.Our perspective by defnition is limited. What a great blessing it is to have a group of men here is the ISI to give us a new perspective. To re-inforce us when we doubt, to correct us when we wonder, and to grab us by the back of the collar when we are about to step off the cliff.Tom
