Heidi H., Council Chair called the 878th meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Twelve Traditions read by Ruth. Council Definition and Purpose read by Robin. Welcome to 3 new Coordinators. Congratulations to those celebrating birthdays. Roll Call: Pete, Assistant Council Chair, reported 39 groups were represented out of 75 registered Coordinators. There was a quorum (29). October 2018 minutes were approved. 7th Tradition: $68.00

H & I Representative: Blaine H. reported– For information see <sdhandi.org> H&I Orientation is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 12 noon in the Machinists’ Hall 5150 Kearny Mesa Rd 92111 and on the 3rd Thursday at 7:00 PM SD Central Office 7075 Mission Gorge RD 92120. H&I and Contact on Release are always in need of volunteers. This month we would like to call attention to the upcoming 38th SoCal H&I Conference to be held in Ventura April 5 – 7, 2019. The conference includes professionals from treatment and corrections, individuals who have gotten sober in those institutions and AAs who carry the message to those on the inside. Good Stuff! 55 BUSINESS COMMITTEE: Precious, Chair
reported Committee met on Tuesday, 11/6/18 at 6:00 pm. Present: Precious P., Heidi H., Sallye, Pete, John and Connie L. Absent: Jerry and Vincent. There was a quorum.
It was m/s/c to approve October 2018 Minutes. October 2018 Financial Statements were m/s/c. October 2018 Financial Summary:
October Net Revenue is 1,944. Our 2018 YTD Net Revenue is 660. Group and Individual Contributions were 12,157. Literature Sales Revenue and CD Bank Interest were 932 while total office and committee expenses were 11,146.
Central Office Manager’s Report:
1. November’s Book of the Month: Max 5 “As Bill Sees It” (soft) sale: $6.60 reg: $8.60
2. November’s Pamphlet of the Month: Max 5 “AA Member & Medications” 5₵ ea.
3. December’s Book of the Month: Max 5 Any Grapevine Book sale: $2.00 off
4. December’s Pamphlet of the Month: Max 5 “Do You Think Your Different” 5₵ ea.
6. Secretaries/Treasurers: include email address w/contributions for receipts.
7. Coordinator Newsletter: FREE subscription electronically by email. Send an email to sdaaco@aol.com. ALL Coordinator Newsletters have been uploaded to our aasandiego.org website 1952 to 2017. “Calendar of Events” on aasandiego.org website includes downloadable flyers.

a. Alternate Fridays 9am – 1 pm b. Always need fill-ins.
AFTER HOURS PHONES: Our AA phones have NOT been answered for the last 3 months on the 12th from 9 pm-9am. We NEED groups to sign up to cover these dates each month, Thank you to the groups for answering phones this month.
