Old Business: There was none.
New Business:
1. The Audit for 2018 has been completed.
The Independent Auditor’s Report states the information is fairly stated in all material respects in relation to the financial statements as a whole. A Summary of the Audit Balance Sheet will be provided in the April Coordinator Newsletter for our membership to review and all members may obtain a copy from our aasandiego.org website. Click on “Intergroup Rep” icon on top.
COORDINATOR NEWSLETTER: Thank you to those who submitted their experience, strength and hope for others to read.
Monthly Themes: are on the front page of the Coordinator Newsletter. Submissions of 27-1000 words welcome. Personal Recovery Poems/Limericks of 200 words. Send to sdaa.newsletter@gmail.com or mail to Central Office at 7075-B Mission Gorge Rd San Diego, CA 92120. Committee NEEDS HELP each month to collate your Coordinator Newsletter. Approximate 1 hour of service. Come join in the fun Wednesday after Council at Central Office at 5:01 pm.
COORDINATOR OUTREACH: Nihura shared ideas on how the Coordinators at Council can be active participants in outreaching to encourage groups to have a Coordinator. Please see her after meeting.
ORIENTATION & GUIDELINES Paul reported: 1. Orientated 10 new Coordinators.
2. Read Traditions 3 & 4, S.D. History of AA,
Structure of Coordinating Council,
Responsibilities, what is a Quorum.
3. New Coordinators, next month at 6:30pm
PROGRAM COMMITTEE: Nikki reported that the committee met on Sunday, 2/23/19. They now have 5 members and could use 3 more.
1. Intergroup’s Founders Day Picnic will be combined with Area 8’s Unity Day: Saturday, June 15 @ Harry Griffen Park in La Mesa from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm. th
2. Anniversary Breakfast: November 9 . Discussing plans for event.
PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE: Upcoming Events:
    a. April 3 & 10 – Presentation of what AA is to Bar Owners & Staff in East Village Downtown.
b. April 13th – South Bay Heath Fair @ Montgomery-Waller Park.
c. April 27th – NAMI: PI Booth.
2. Kate & Benjamin wish to be approved by Council to serve on PI Committee.
3. Area CPC – No representative present.
4. Area CEC- No representative present.
5. Public Information is a terrific
opportunity to be of service. Please join us at our next committee meeting on First Monday of month @ Central Office- 6 pm.
