Keep Parm and carry on
Arnott’s takes on the Chicken Parmigiana debate with its latest Shapes flavour.
Allen’s, Oak take on teamwork
Allen’s and Oak Flavoured Milk are joining forces again to bring consumers a new lolly range.
SHAPES’ new Chicken Parmigiana flavour set off a national conversation when research commissioned by Arnott’s revealed 45 per cent of Australians say parmi and
34 per cent say parma. Evidence of Australia’s love of
the quintessential pub meal is that 26 per cent of Victorians said the first meal they consume when out of lockdown with be a chicken parmigiana.
Arnott’s has paid homage to the classic with its new Chicken Parmigiana flavour in the Shapes Aussie Legends range.
Arnott’s marketing manager, savoury, Shannon Wright said: “We know Aussies are a nation of pub lovers and it’s been
tough not being able to enjoy our favourite pub feeds as often as we’d like the past few months. So we decided to expand our Shapes Aussie Legends range with another one of the tastes Australians love.
“Shapes means FlavourYouCanSee,
but in this case, it also means Flavour You Can Debate. Depending on region the nation is divided on whether you call it a Parmi or Parma. We chose to include both versions on either side of the new Aussie Legends boxes.”
The new flavour expertly blends tastes of the classic ingredients of a chicken parmigiana, with mild parmesan cheese, a rich tomato and garlic sauce, topped with Italian herbs on a crispy chicken schnitzel.
ALLEN’S has revisited its collaboration with Oak Flavoured Milk to launch a new flavoured range of Allen’s iconic Milk Bottle lollies.
Towards the end of 2019, the two brands launched lolly-flavoured milks, with a limited edition run of Allen’s Red Skins and Jaffas as Oak Flavoured Milks.
Nestlé head of marketing Joyce Tan told Food & Drink Business the team were excited to bring a smile to consumers’ days by continuing to bring new flavours through such partnerships.
“Oak’s flavoured milks truly complement the flavour experiences we create for Allen’s lollies, so it was a no-brainer, to re-visit the collaboration, this time in reverse,” says Tan.
“Weworkincrediblyclosely
with our collaboration partners on new flavour announcements, to ensure we continue to delight fans of both brands. The Oak Milk team worked with the Allen’s factory every step of the way, to ensure our iconic Milk Bottles were inspired by and truly tasted like Oak’s flavoured milks.” Allen’s Milk Bottles Mixed
