AREA OF INTEREST IN DEFENCE
Selex ES Australia (A Leonardo Company) is interested in all areas
of Defence and Aerospace. This predominantly focuses on Naval Systems including all sensors, communications and control management. The intention is to expand within this sector to become the baseline reference for Naval Communications in Oceania. In addition, and through Partech Systems, Selex ES Australia is pursuing further opportunities with all Air platforms such as the F35.
Selex ES Australia is interested in expanding its involvement within
Sea 1442 and particularly Phase 5. Additionally, Selex ES Australia would like to support the Continuous Naval Shipbuilding Plan through the provision of world leading Naval System Capabilities. Programs such as Sea 1180, Sea 1179, Sea 5000 and Sea 1000 are of distinct interest from a Naval point of view, whereas Land 400, Land 200, JP 2072, JP 9101, JP9347 and Land 121 are the main focus for Land target programmes.
Selex ES Australia will join forces with AgustaWestland Australia Pty Ltd in 2019 to form Leonardo Australia, which further promotes the 'One Company' global approach of Leonardo.
