Queensland Ballet Academy produces young dancers whose talents and abilities are in demand throughout Australia and internationally.
Pre-Professional
Program
Queensland Ballet’s Pre-Professional Program
is a full-time final year training program which provides students with the preparation and training they require before joining a professional ballet company.
Senior Program
Professional ballet and contemporary dance training for advanced students, delivered simultaneously with senior academic schooling in Years 10 – 12.
QB Associate
Programs
Designed to supplement the work of community dance teachers and offer students the chance to work more closely with Queensland’s State ballet company. The Associate Programs
give gifted young dancers, aged 10 – 15, the opportunity to further develop their skills by working with their peers under the guidance of the Academy’s world class teachers.
QB Academy
Guest Associates
A unique training opportunity for elite students based outside the Brisbane metro area, including wider South East Queensland, intra/interstate or international locations.
