RED PIRANHA LAUNCHES CRYSTAL EYE XDR
WE all know that implementing a defen- sive cyber-security program is vital for any businesses, no matter its size. However, the regular question becomes; does it re- ally have to be this hard?
Not any more. Perth-based Red Piranha, a licensed Australian Defence Exporter and holder of ISO 27001, works closely with many organisations that appreciate threats and issues raised by cybersecu- rity, but struggle to implement an effec- tive end-to-end cybersecurity program that provides them with protection from today's evolving-threat landscape.
Previously, companies often had to rely on what are excellent products from mul- tiple vendors ... but which don't intuitively work together. This then requires signifi- cant integration, leading not just too sub- stantial extra costs, but invariably, gaps may still remain within the resultant so- called "security" framework.
The alternative is Crystal Eye XDR, pro- vides a holistic and comprehensive cyber- security platform that delivers advanced protection against the evolving-threat land- scape, all from one integrated platform.
Crystal Eye XDR (eXtended Detection and Response) provides businesses of all sizes with a complete security solution:
• Integrated risk management
• Cloud access security brokers
• Advance network firewalls
• Intrusion detection and prevention
• Secure web and email gateways
• Data loss prevention
• Staff training
• Access to our 24/7 Security Operations
Centre
• Endpoint (device) protection platforms,
compliance lockdown and reporting
Additionally, Crystal Eye XDR’s com- pliance application allows businesses to lock down Windows devices to Australian government information security manual compliance requirements with ease, de-
tecting a possible intrusion, initiating protection, and allowing the company's IT department to quickly identify the real threats from within the "noise" and then initiate rapid response strategies to mini- mise any intruder’s overall impact.
And, it’s all 100 per cent propriety- owned in Australia, including all the IP, meaning there are no overseas companies to become involved in your service back- ups. Red Piranha is also the developer and manufacturer of all aspects of the tailor-made solutions offered, so all the IP you need is retained right here, where it should be.
PORTABLE AUSSIE WATER FILTER SAVES LIVES
EASY, fast, and safe drinking water, any- time, anywhere to anyone. Water demand already exceeds supply in many parts of the world, and the situation is only getting worse. Frequently, what water is available is contaminated and undrinkable.
Recognising this worsening situation Australian company Sure Aqua set out to design a portable water filter that would meet the needs of the military, campers, 4x4 enthusiasts, and the disas- ter relief services.
They took a 0.01mi- cron ultra filtration hollow fibre membrane and integrated it with a comprehensive backwash function to create the “Sur- vival Jerrycan”. The fin- ished product is an 18.5li- tre, durable military-grade jerrycan that produces bac- teria and virus free water on demand.
The Survival Jerrycan has been field tested in the India floods and critically examined by laboratories around the world. It passed every examination with flying colours. Closer to home Brendham Egan, Director-General Australian Mili- tary enlisted Australia’s Defence Science and Technology services to undertake extensive testing and analysis. In their report, they confirmed the Survival Jer- rycan is “reliable and cost-effective for accessing clean water in the field.”
According to Garth Holloway, a direc- tor of Sure Aqua, who was in India for the floods; “There is no doubt that the Sur- vival Jerrycan is a quality product that can be relied on to keep producing safe water in the harshest of environments”. ■
