CAPABILITIES: ADIESA is an organisation that provides the vehicle for the free flow of communications between Defence and industry. It is not a lobbying or industrial organisation but aims to assist Defence and Industry by facilitating increased collaboration. A critical element of ADIESA’s strategy is the formation of strong relationships with se- nior Defence officials in all areas of C4I research, development, pro- curement and support. ADIESA provides opportunities for member companies to meet with senior Defence personnel at various functions and runs a number of Focus Groups and Working Groups. These Focus Groups include Enterprise Architectures, C4, ISR and allow early in- dustry involvement in the force development process. Membership of ADIESA is open to Australian companies and academic institutions with capabilities in information and electronic systems.
