CAPABILITIES: RFD is the manufacturer and supplier of our uniquely designed Boarding Vest which comprises of: a) a Ballistic/Stab Waistcoat Assembly, b) a Flotation Assembly, c) a Covert assist Swim Bladder and d) Customer specific pockets for the carriage of opera- tional equipment. The Boarding Vest is designed for use by various operators employed in operations associated with a wide range of maritime roles. The design of the vest shall incorporate the following four operational functions: • Ballistic and Stab protection to the wear- er • Flotation in the event of ‘in-water’ contact • Carriage facility for the retention of operational pocket mounted equipment • Offer a ‘swim assist’ bladder system for Special Force ‘covert’ operation.
