  Touring an Aussie success story
MORE THAN A dozen technicians undertook a tour of ActronAir’s world class production facilities last month.
The technicians are all students from the Superior Training Centre (STC), a private Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in Ingleburn in Sydney’s south west.
The tours are organised to keep students up to date with the latest industry trends and to give them a first hand look at a professional manufacturing facility.
An STC spokesperson said students value site visits and the feedback is always positive.
ActronAir’s brand & digital marketing man- ager, Costa Avgerinos, said the company is proud to showcase its Australian-made heritage.
“The students went to our Marsden Park facil- ity which houses the biggest dedicated HVAC R&D facility in the southern hemisphere,” he said.
“We’ve been building world class air condi- tioners and controls right here in Australia for more than 39 years.”

SCG expands manufacturing in ASEAN deal
IAQ SOLUTIONS PROVIDER enVerid Systems has expanded its partnership with SCG, a leading business conglomerate in the ASEAN region.
The expanded relationship includes the addition of important new Southeast Asian markets to SCG's sales territory and a technol- ogy licensing and manufacturing agreement.
SCG Smart Building Solutions, a system
integrator and solution provider of energy-sav- ing technologies that also enhance the well- being of building occupants, has been distributing enVerid's award winning HVAC Load Reduction® (HLR®) air cleaning modules in Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam since 2020.
Under the new agreement, SCG's territory has been expanded to include the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.
SCG will also manufacture enVerid HLR mod- ules in Thailand under a technology licensing agreement with enVerid.
enVerid Sorbent Ventilation Technology® (SVT®), the core technology in HLR modules and other SVT-enabled HVAC systems, removes gaseous contaminants including carbon diox- ide, formaldehyde, and volatile organic com- pounds (VOCs) from indoor air so that indoor air quality targets can be achieved with less reliance on energy-intensive outside air ventilation.
“SCG WILL MANUFACTURE ENVERID MODULES IN THAILAND.”
Conditioning large volumes of outside air used to dilute indoor generated contaminants, especially in hot and humid ASEAN markets, represents a large portion of HVAC energy con- sumption. With SVT, HVAC energy use can be reduced by up to 40 per cent.
SCG is one of Thailand's largest companies and a leader in intelligent building management technology.
