                 Chillers
  Liquid cooling
for manufacturing processes
Liquid cooling offers an ideal cooling solution for spindle motors and automation drives in automotive manufacturing, power plant elec- tronics and solar inverters in energy production, and oven controls and product coolers/dryers in pharmaceutical production, as well as for paper & printing, plastic manufacturing, ozone sani- tisation, and water/wastewater applications.
Compact Pfannenberg EB 2.0 Large Packaged Chillersallowmaximumcoolingcapacityinthe smallest possible footprint. Heavy-duty finned- tube condensers deliver high efficiency and long service life in hot, corrosive, or dirty ambient environments.
Models range up to 30 tonnes, so proper capacity is available for most applications, while all units are ready to use after simple installa- tion—requiring only piping and power.
Remote start/stop capability and insulated vented polypropylene reservoir tanks for rapid heat load changes provide reliable and flexible operation.

Centres and other mission-critical applications. Access via a new Daikin mobile app, intro- duced with the new range, simplifies system
monitoring and management.
Daikin’s objective is to deliver maximum
operating and energy efficiency while reducing emissions through the use of lower GWP refrig- erants and improved lifecycle performance. 89 per cent of emissions produced from chillers arises from equipment energy use.

PFANNENBERG INC. RECENTLY SHOWCASED ITS HIGH- EFFICIENCY LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS INCLUDING ITS LARGE PACKAGED CHILLERS.
CLOSED-LOOP LIQUID COOLING efficiently and eco- nomically improves perfor- mance for advanced manufacturing processes and electronics in hot, dirty environments using field-proven water circulation technology.
Designed to guarantee full separation of water lines and airflow paths, Pfannenberg liq- uid cooling systems feature integrated elec- tronic thermostats and f low control components for accurate temperature control and superior energy efficiency.
Daikin extends R32 scroll compressor range
EXTENDING DAIKIN’S LOW GWP scroll range up to 1010 kW, the latest new air-cooled chiller with R32 scroll compressors offers a low carbon solution for a range of process, indus- trial, IT and comfort cooling applications.
Launched last month, Daikin’s second gener- ation of R32 cooling-only chillers delivers high full- and part-load efficiencies with an increased capacity range up to 1010 kW (compared to the existing 704 kW) within a new, compact foot- print offering a reduction of 275 mm in size.
Innovative new features incorporated into the new R32 chillers offer optimised performance. These include a new Daikin fan with an innova- tive design that increases air flow and offers a low sound solution with higher efficiency.
A full metallic compressor enclosure with soundproof insulation presents an improved aes- thetic and protects the compressor, while reducing sound by up to 4dB. The latest range also provides a Rapid Restart feature, integrated sequencing capability and performance monitoring: options previously available only on screw units.
The new R32 air-cooled chiller range is available in Silver- or Gold-standard efficiency versions, each in two sound configurations to offer maximum flexibility in operation. A wide range of operating temperatures from -12°C up to 30°C accommo- dates diverse uses. All models are compliant with current requirements for Comfort Cooling.
The new range also includes fully integrated Hydronic Free Cooling, making it ideal for Data
