1Q1 IS A WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT SYS-

Dave Rogers is the manager at Jacob's Body and Paint in Wodonga, Victoria and has been using 1Q1 for a year. "It's very simple and user friendly. There's the de- parture screen and the waterfall display for work in progress. You can see how you are tracking for fixed price work. It has helped our productivity so much, the cars cycle through the system so well. You can see what's coming in which helps with making sure the booking are evenly spread to avoid bottlenecks," he said.
"The supplementary flags are great too - they simply take a photo and the office can deal with the ordering extra parts and con- tacting the insurer. Before they would waste time finding a manager or going to the office to make sure someone knew about the supplementary.
“It's so visual. You can colour code your technicians so if you want specific techs to work on specific cars - they see their colour attached to the job. Or you can just run it with techs taking the next job in line. It's been a great fit for our business."
Gino's Panel and Paint is a high volume facility in Freemantle, Perth. Aaron Scagli- otta has used 1Q1 since its inception and Gino's was one of the shops which helped to trial and fine tune the program.
