TIME TO TAKE THE FAMILY OUT FOR SOME AIR
There were big falls and small victories. But house bricks, piles of dirt and old doors have served their time as homemade jumps. Now we can get out again into our bigger, more rewarding backyard.
      We’re a bit rusty at this, for now. Slightly tight b o o t s , a f o r g o t t e n t o r c h . W oD EnR BdY e r i n g w h y y o u r backpack smells vaguely like banana. And the next day there’ll be aches. Worth it.

For a while, beanies were only worn on bad-hair days. Coats were only used to walk the already over-walked dog. Outdoor gear deserves better, taken to places where it, and you, can be pelted by sideways rain and blown fresh again.

Up well before sunrise, uphill for hours. Stumbles and swearing on the climb. But it all pays off, as dawn’s shadows melt away to reveal a view worthy only
as a virtual background. Said no one ever.

NH: Great cinematography that feels unique, but unfortunately the pace doesn’t hit the mark.
It did get me wondering whether the average viewer would wait until 1.40 minutes to find out it’s for Tasmania. I personally miss
the quirk that was created for the recent brand campaign “Come Down For Air”.
JR: By far the most distinctive and visually striking. The tone from the “Come Down For Air”
work comes through in the print ads which are charming and insightful, but it’s a shame this wasn’t carried into the film.
KA: I do love it when tourism ads just shut up and lead with their
best assets. It’s warm, it’s welcoming and beacons you back to a simpler way of life. A good area for Tassie to own in this cultural reset, which has everyone questioning the rat race.

TOURISM NORTHERN TERRITORY: THE TERRITORY IS THE ANSWER
Creative Agency: KWP!
NH: The contrast of mundane COVID-19 living with the bright and vibrant footage of the NT transports viewers. The craft leaves me wanting a little more, but good to see a simple insight.
JR: Beautiful shots of NT and great energy in the edit, however the introduction feels inauthentic and jarring. I appreciate the storytelling and observation of “locked down life”, but it’s a bit of an unwelcome reminder.
KA: Space. Not the “outer” kind but simply the “wide open” kind. This might be the answer and
I think it’s a great strategy for
NT to own at this time. However,

I don’t think they need to contrastKakadu National Park it against perceived negatives of international travel.
