APPMA enhances service and support
The introduction of targeted business to business sponsorship agreements that facilitate the provision of industry-specific information and advice, provides a new avenue of support for APPMA members.
One of APPMA’s objectives is to provide a range of support and
information services that can assist members in areas of their business should they need assistance. To this end, the association has forged partnerships with B2B sponsors to give members access to industry-specific information and advice, adding another dimension to the support services APPMA provides.
“With our diverse membership it is important for companies to have the opportunity to communicate and engage with industry specialists who provide products, services and expert advice essential to their business operations. Our sponsors provide such an avenue especially for the members who do not have that level of in-house infrastructure,” said Michael Moran, APPMA CEO.
“We welcome AEI Insurance and FinLease as inaugural APPMA business sponsors,” he said. “We are confident this partnership will add value to our members.”
New members
As APPMA forges new partnerships industry-wide, the association continues to attract
new packaging and processing company members.
“The industry is becoming more aware of importance of APPMA’s involvement and support for the total Processing and Packaging industry,” said Moran. “This includes the launch and running of APPEX 2024, an event run by the industry, for the industry, with all returns reinvested to support the industry.”
New APPMA members for the first quarter this year are SEW Eurodrive, Global Machinery & Supplies, Viscofan Globus and Fresh Life Packaging.
“We welcome these companies to the APPMA community; we look forward to working with all of them in the future,” Moran said.
Hort Connections
The APPMA and AUSVEG partnership provides consolidated support for both Hort Connections – Australia and New Zealand’s largest horticulture conference and trade show, and APPEX 2024
– Australia’s premier Processing and Packaging Exhibition.
“Following our successful participation last year, we look forward to meeting up with our APPMA exhibiting members and
working with Hort Connections on how we can further support the show and the broader industry,” Moran said.
Hort Connections is taking place on 5-7 June in Adelaide.
Modern Manufacturing Expo A founding partner of Modern Manufacturing Expo, APPMA will once again be supporting this event to be held in Sydney on 20-21 September.
The exhibition is aimed at companies providing advanced and innovative manufacturing.
For APPMA members interested in having a stand, a 10 per cent discount on your exhibition space will be provided. For members who would like to participate in the show but do not require a dedicated stand, APPMA will be establishing shared pavilion arrangement, which will provide a limited number of members with a starter-pack arrangement, giving companies space, facilities, promotional content and support on the pavilion enabling the opportunity to experience and assess the show in a flexible, cost effective manner.
