Rooftop line with controller
LENNOX INTERNATIONAL HAS unveiled its Model L packaged rooftop line which features an all-new rooftop controller, the Lennox CORE Control System and Service App.
The Model L packaged rooftop line boasts ef- ficiency ratings among the highest in the indus- try with leadership models in SEER, IEER, and EER. Featuring both gas-electric and electric- electric units, the Model L is available from three to 25 tonnes of nominal cooling capacity.
Lennox International president & COO, Elliott Zimmer, said the Model L kicks off the rooftop revolution and sets the bar for a premium light commercial product.

Packed full of innovative features, the heart of the Model L is the new Lennox CORE Control System and Service App. The CORE Service App was developed to replace the traditional user in- terface to provide quicker navigation for installa- tion, network integration, and service.
Using the advanced diagnostic and sensor sys- tem, the controller can communicate superheat, sub-cool, and other system performance details without hooking up gauges to the unit’s refrigera-
tion system. This critical performance informa- tion is available through open third-party com- munication protocols like BACnet and LonTalk.
The company’s vice president of commercial product management and marketing, Bobby Di- Fulgentiz, said the CORE Control System has helped revolutionize the way information is han- dled within the HVACR industry by truly em- bracing open integration.
“The diagnostic capabilities of the Model L provide a deep understanding of unit perfor- mance and we have made all of this rich informa- tion available to any third-party building auto- mation system through popular open protocols. This gives our customers the flexibility to choose the building controls system that works best for them,” he said.

Power for static eliminators
EXAIR’S NEW GEN4 four outlet selectable voltage power supply allows users to choose in- put voltages of 115VAC or 230VAC.
Four 5kV stainless steel output connectors can energise four static eliminators at the same time. Applications using up to four Gen4 Super Ion Air Knives, Ion Air Guns, Ion Air Cannons, Ionizing Bars or any other EXAIR Gen4 static eliminator product can be connected to one power supply. Like all EXAIR Gen4 products, these four outlet power supplies are UL compo- nent recognized, CE and RoHS compliant.
They also feature an electromagnetically shielded modular power supply cable which eas- es routing and connections. An integrated fuse on the primary protects against voltage spikes.
The lighted power switch indicates operation and is field replaceable. The Gen4 four outlet power sup- ply is housed in a durable metal enclosure (152mm L x 102mm W x 112mm H) that is ideal for rugged, in- dustrial environments. Gen4 static eliminators hav- ing a bayonet-style connector that can be inserted into the power supply where the electrical connec- tion is made deep inside to prevent a shock hazard.
Available from Compressed Air Australia, Gen4 static eliminator products using this power supply are all shockless and have armoured high voltage cables which resist abrasion and cuts.
