Eurovent AHU
EUROVENT CERTIFICATION IS
set to launch the Energy Efficiency Classes for Summer Application (EECS) label for air handling units (AHUs), which includes cooling and accommodates warmer weather conditions.
The label will be made mandatory from September 2021.
Systemair is ready to provide the
summer labels for its entire range of
Eurovent-certified AHUs. Custom-
ers will be given the option to print
the extra label through the online selection tools during the month of June.
Jörn Doerk, technical product manager, AHU Design and Certification, Menerga, Systemair Group, explains why the la- bel is important.

These customisations include specific Btu/Hr values from 275- 5600 Btu/Hr., adaptations for high temperature environments up to 93°C (200°F) and a selection of ma- terials including aluminium, Type 303SS and 316SS, to combat corro- sive environments.
For dirty and dusty environments, a Non-Hazardous Purge option will cre- ate a positive pressure inside the cabinet to keep dirt and debris
