FUJITSU GENERAL AUSTRALIA has deliv- ered the latest innovation in affordable, durable and reliable air conditioner solutions with the launch of the new wall mounted reverse cycle Comfort range.
The new Comfort range features six models from 2.5kW to 7.1kW cooling capacity.
Kyle Rafter, head of product ANZ, Fujitsu General said the Comfort range was designed to ensure maximum value and user satisfaction, boasting energy efficient features in an award- winning design.
“It is important that Australians have complete control of their indoor climate when outdoor conditions are unpredictable. Everyone should feel like their home is the most comfortable place to be, and the new Comfort range can help deliver that feeling,” Rafter said.
“This range provides an optimal performance in hotter climates, with an increased cooling operation range up to 50°C ambient tempera- ture while remaining energy efficient and visu- ally appealing.”
The Comfort range’s superior energy effi- ciency comes from its use of R32 refrigerant,
“MINIMISE ENERGY USE WITHOUT SACRIFICING INDOOR COMFORT.”
which improves heat transfer compared to the commonly used R410A refrigerant.
R32 has a 67 per cent lower ‘Global Warming Potential Factor’ whilst still maintaining perfor- mance. Comfort range units also display the Zoned Energy Rating Label (ZERL) and has a hot climate energy performance of up to five stars in a HOT climate in cooling mode and is Demand Enabled Response (DRED) compatible.
Its super-quiet mode means fans operate at low speed and produce less noise. Powerful operation mode allows the system to reach the setting temperature quickly, and precise
temperature control enables the temperature setting to be adjusted by 0.5°C increments using the wireless remote control.
Other features include Up/Down Swing Louvre, Auto Changeover and Auto Restart to maintain ideal comfort levels, helping to mini- mise energy use without sacrificing indoor comfort. All of this control is enabled via the simple to use wireless remote controller.
Rafter said the Comfort range was designed to be reliable and to withstand harsh climates, with silicone coating on high voltage compo- nents and blue fin treatment to the outdoor heat exchanger which improves its resistance to corrosion.
“This new range comes with a five-year parts and labour warranty,” he said.

Danfoss extends Optyma range
DANFOSS HAS EXTENDED the cooling capacity of its Optyma Plus condensing units and launched A2L-compatible DMLE and DCLE hermetic filter driers.
With continued requirements and efforts to phase down high Global Warming Potential
(GWP) refrigerants, the demand increases for components and solutions compatible with low GWP refrigerants.
That’s why Danfoss has expanded its portfolio of A2L-compliant refrigeration solutions by once again extending the cooling capacity range for
its Optyma Plus condensing units. The extended cooling capacities areupto15kWMBPand5.9kWLBP
for Optyma Plus.
As a result, cooling professionals
now have more options than ever to meet their specific application needs—especially for cold rooms with evaporation temperatures down to -35°C—cementing Danfoss’ position as a stop-shop for multi- refrigerant condensing units.
The Danfoss Optyma Slim Pack and Optyma Plus condensing units feature a future-proof design
compatible with both A2L and A1 refrigerants— e.g. R1234yf, R454C, and R455A—in the same unit. Further supporting it’s A2L portfolio, Danfoss has released new DMLE and DCLE multi- refrigerant hermetic filter driers as part of the
ELIMINATOR family.
Compatible with A1, A2, A2L, and A3
refrigerants, this gives users the flexibility to embrace the green transition when they are ready. DMLE and DCLE filter driers are designed for high performance, durability, and large refrigerant volumes—withstanding a maximum working pressure (MWP) of 50 Bar (725 psi) and working temperature range of 40 °C to 70 °C (-40
°F to 160 °F).
They are available with copper, copper-
plated, and flare connections and will offer core sizes 1.5, 3, 5, and 8 cubic inches with filters from 1.5 to 5 cubic inches maintaining the same dimensions and weight as the current DML and DCL filter driers.
