We ask industry leaders five questions about their working life. This month we talk to Louise Cordina from Cordina Farms.
1TELL US ABOUT
YOUR CURRENT ROLE My current role as CEO of Cordina Group is dynamic and just like our industry, requires agility, creative thinking and great multi-tasking skills!
2WHAT HAS BEEN
YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT TO DATE? Building an amazing Team that has been able to deliver on our vision to become leaders in the Australian food industry through thinking differently.

To take others along with you for the challenges as well as the triumphs. It’s tempting to go
into solutions mode and insulate others when things get a bit tough, but it’s important to keep communication open and not
try to save the world alone!

Our current focus as a Group is on infrastructure expansion to support our growth and our partners growth into the future. Having our infrastructure projects completed by the end of 2021, will put us in a great place to deliver on our strategic plans. ✷
WHAT WOULD YOU TELL
YOUR 25-YER-OLD SELF?

     WHAT WAS YOUR
BIGGEST MISTAKE AND WHAT DID YOU LEARN?
That upwards is not the best path for everyone. As a leader, it’s easy to assume that everyone wants to be there at the frontline leading the charge. I’ve learnt from experience that everyone’s path is individual and upwards is not always the best way forward. When you want great things for your Team, it’s easy to make that assumption, but the wrong role or the wrong timing can result in the opposite of what you were intending.
WHAT IS ONE GOAL
YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE?
