Attending the Print21 + PKN LIVE and PKN’s Women in Packaging events at the State Library’s Conversation Quarter in Melbourne gave me a new appreciation for live events.
It also highlighted the importance of the in-person experience for me.
Not only was I proud of our team who had collaborated to bring these events to successful fruition, but I particularly enjoyed being there with them, and being part of a live gathering at a beautiful venue, an experience that had not been possi- ble this time last year.

ences, perspectives and knowledge, and attendees the opportunity to learn, share and enquire.
An added bonus, since it was a live event, was that there was no need to grapple with sound controls or deal with the technical difficulties often experi- enced during the virtual experience.

As we prepare for the holidays, may we embrace the celebrations and in-per- son connections they bring with a new appreciation and sense of gratitude. ■
