                  Better Workplaces
We have a dedicated Learning Lounge where training, workshops and personal learning take place. This is our commitment to developing staff and providing the right physical space to learn.
Our building also has a gym on the ground floor and a soon-to-be- opened childcare centre, with special rates for staff. All of this helps bring key services that our people need closer to the office.
We have three people pillars at Publicis Groupe: Whole self, Connect, Belong.
1Whole self
Our approach to the wellbeing of our people, recognising the need to nurture “whole self”.
At the end of 2019, we launched Publicis Liberte, a flexible working approach, allowing our people to work the best way that works for them, while delivering the best outcome for clients.
Publicis has one of the leading parental policies in the advertising industry. We wanted to encourage and enable both parents to take an active role in their child’s life. Any primary carer is eligible for paren- tal leave the moment they join Publicis, with a sliding scale and up to 18 weeks available at four-plus years’ tenure. We introduced a Secondary Carer Swap, whereby in the child’s first nine months, the secondary carer can swap to become the primary with the same entitlements. Parental leave policy includes adoption and surrogacy.
We have trained mental health first aiders and all staff have access to an EAP counselling service. We regularly run sessions on financial health, nutrition and mental health. Every person has free access to the Aura app which supports mindful- ness and positive mental health.
We have several leave benefits, and many of our agencies have Lion Leave — five extra days on a person’s work anniversary after two years with the company. All you need to do is have your leave balance at 76 hours at the date of your anniversary. We also have birthday leave and study leave.
After the 2019-2020 bushfires, we created Holiday Here, with three extra days’ leave to holiday in one of the bushfire areas.

Locally, we are constantly connecting talent to opportunities. This could be moving from a performance media agency to a creative agency, or taking a promotion in another agency. This philosophy to move our people helps shape skills, exposing them to opportunities for further growth.

Marcel is our global AI platform that connects all 80,000 of our people. It houses knowledge commu- nities, D&I communities, thousands of online learning opportunities and structured modules, and the chance to connect to short-term gigs, jobs and open client briefs globally.
