Epson printing
Afor every need
fter two challenging years for Above Resin printing: Epson SureColor the industry, Epson returns R5000L offers low running costs
to PacPrint with, arguably,
one of its best and most
comprehensive displays ever as
they stand by their “a printing solution for Epson has long been a leader in the
every requirement” mantra having released a slew of new machines during lockdown, and with more rolling out this year. Its stand, G20, will showcase the company’s rapid and relentless expansion into the commercial and industrial print space.
Epson’s stand will feature a number of areas which focus on individual segments in the production print market, and some highlights include:
Fabric
Epson has had a strong presence in the DTG space for several years now. More recently, Epson has expanded into dye sublimation, with products that range from small desktop sheet-based solutions, up to large roll-to roll machines. One of the key products Epson will feature on the stand
is the large 76” SureColor F10060, that
is aimed at soft signage and just-in-time manufacturing. It comes in 4-colour and 6-colour configurations, with up to six high speed print heads that enable production speeds of 200sqm an hour.
Signage
Having established a reputation in
the signage space for print quality and durability, on the stand printers can expect to see the latest solvent models as well as the new resin range. The SureColor R5000L not only offers a low running cost but finally brings accurate and repeatable colour into a platform that enables rapid job turnaround.

professional photo space. Models such as the SureColor P9560 set the standard for premium. It has also been a sizable player in small format photo printing, and on the stand it will display the new SureLab D1060 which supports single and double- sided prints, from 4” x 6” up to A4.
Technical & Poster
Australia has a long history in construction and mining. Covid, and its associated
supply chain issues, has created a fertile ground for a resumption in local design and manufacturing. Epson has launched a huge range of models targeting this segment
over the last two years, a number of these will be at the show, along with the new SureColor T7760D. Epson says this new model combines high-speed production
with flexible media handling in a compact footprint. It features a new 6-colour ink set that incorporates red for an extended gamut, to suit GIS and mapping to poster prints.
Labels
Epson’s ColorWorks C4000 will be on display for the first time in Australia at PacPrint. Since the launch, the ColorWorks commercial label printers have gained a foothold as one of Australia’s most popular solutions for in-house or print-for pay on- demand label production. The new C4000 model has been engineered for the most demanding applications, with enhanced connectivity and integration options. 21

eProductivity Software
One of the new names at PacPrint will be eProductivity Software – which was the former EFI software division, now under new ownership.
The business, which included MIS, ERP and W2P, has become a substantial operation over the years, as the company acquired a plethora of developers around the world and merged them into one entity. It now has 4,000 printers as customers around the world working in everything from commercial print to packaging display graphics, corrugated, labels and packaging, and publications.
Daniel Aloi, senior regional sales manager APAC said,
“It is great news for the business and the industry. Now as a fully-fledged stand- alone software business dedicated to print, packaging and corrugated we will be able develop new partnerships, strengthen relations with
all industry vendors, and contribute fully to the growth and development of the industry.”
Aloi says everything has remained as is for ANZ customers, with the same contact details, same staff
and same support systems in place. Aloi stays as regional sales manager, with Brad
Hall remaining as operations manager. Globally the R&D centres in the UK, US and India will remain.
As a provider solely focused on purpose-built software for packaging and print industries, eProductivity Software says
it develops best-in-class segment-based technology
“to simplify your operations, remove ‘islands of automation’ to increase your efficiency, and grow into new markets while maximising your investments through scalable, integrated productivity suites.”
It has solutions for packaging, commercial,
POS, corrugated packaging, publication printing and quick/ in plant printing. 21
