members with key take-aways and genuine insights that can be immediately implemented into their businesses.
Show favourites The Great Aussie Pie Competition and the Pizza & Pastry Revolution will return this year and are sure to be crowd pleasers.
Another huge highlight that I am personally passionate about is the Women in Foodservice Charity Event, dedicated to sharing knowledge, inspiration and networking in this dynamic and diverse industry – with all proceeds going to charity.
What are you most excited about at this year's Fine Food?
I’m really excited that we’re bringing the Lions’ Den to Melbourne for the first time. After its successful launch last year, startups and new businesses will again have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a pack of industry CEO Lions of some of the biggest foodservice businesses in the country. I can’t wait to see the great range of startups, sole
traders, entrepreneurs, and new businesses pitch their ideas to our pack of Lions.
How should visitors best approach the show?
This is the largest food trade event in the Southern Hemisphere –
so we don’t joke when we say it is big. I recommend to plan your day before you get there. The show website has a full overview of what’s happening and when,
and a list of the products and services that will be on display.
Over the years, how has Fine Food Australia changed and evolved? Fine Food has grown from very humble beginnings, growing to a must-attend event for the industry that offers inspiration, education, genuine business connections, and the chance to stay ahead of the competition. Fine Food Australia is no longer just an expo, it’s a fully immersive experience for members of the foodservice, hospitality and retail industries – and that makes me really excited about what is still to come.
