SafetoShare is printed onto packaging at the manufacturing
HOW IT WORKS
1. SafetoShare can be printed on paper/cardboard products during manufacture of the packaging.
2. During the printing process the varnish uses nanotechnology to fill microscopic defects, holes,
packaging have been tested and repelled, resulting in being almost germ-free.
5. The varnish is Food Handling safe, with no heavy metals. It is fully biodegradable with no chemical residues.
TESTING REGIME
To provide certified evidence of SafetoShare’s effectiveness, testing and certification
has been carried out at two independent laboratories qualified to certify testing
to international standards – the SGS lab in Hong Kong
and Intertek in Shenzhen, China. ISO 22196 was the standard used as the reference on SafetoShare coated paper.
The varnish has passed all the European and USA Food Standards for food handling,
and test results on the newly developed ASTM WK66122 are on the way.
It is also being tested for use on plastic packaging products and has been found to have similar success when applied to plastic as it does on cardboard and paper. The results of this current testing are yet to be released, but preliminary findings have been very successful.
As our world moves to a safer place post COVID-19, it is more important than ever to make sure that all possible points of transmission and contamination of bacteria and viruses are removed. SafetoShare Varnish has been proven to be highly effective on a range of packaging, offering an effective and reassuring solution. ✷
