Raise the bar
KELVION HAS BOOSTED its green cre- dentials by extending the 90 bar operating pressures to three CO2 air cooler models.
Following the launch of the KDC dual dis- charge cooler 90 bar version in 2018, the mar- ket SP cubic cooler and compact DF wedge cooler units are also available in 90 bar vari- ants. Their maximum capacities are: KDC, 23 kW; SP, 50kW and DF, 11 kW.
The three air coolers are designed for re- frigeration applications and can meet a wide range of CO2 system requirements, including supermarkets, distribution centres and stor- age of flowers, fruits and vegetables. They are built on tried and tested technology, operat- ing safely and reliably.

App to help tradies fight back
App creator, Gayle Neville
THIEVES WILL FIND stealing work tools a little harder thanks to a Queensland mother of four who has created an app to foil their plans.
Gayle Neville from Brisbane came up with the novel idea to create a virtual tool box where tradies could register all of their equipment, in- cluding serial numbers, in one safe location.
In the event of items being stolen, the re- cords stored on the app called Tool Protect could be accessed quickly and tools later iden- tified if recovered.
The idea was hatched after listening to her husband Dan, a police officer, talk about his frus- tration at how little could be done to recover sto- len tools. With the help of her four adult sons – and their wives - Neville released Tool Protect onto the Australian market.
Since it was released in June this year Neville has signed up 2,300 tradies to trial the app.
“I wanted to catch these thieves who are rip-
ping people off like my son, who also happens to be a tradie,” she said.
Tool theft is a growing problem in Australia, with equipment often stolen from the back of utes, cars and even construction sites.
Moreover, claiming on insurance can be a lengthy process and unless proper records are kept the full repayment value may not be paid.
Tool Protect allows information to be stored in one convenient place with information ready to be sent to police, insurers and even tool shops where they can be reordered. Tradies take a photo of each tool which is recorded with its serial number and any other identifia- ble marks.
Tool Protect is available to download for a free 12 month trial. After the trial, users can sign up for a $28 per year fee. It is available through the App stores of both Apple and An- droid devices.
Stainless steel fans for
strict temperature control
Kelvion has raised the bar with its air coolers.
FANQUIP’S STAINLESS STEEL air circulators are reliable at meeting strict temperature control requirements to satisfy the demand of compa- nies at times when air conditioning is not practi- cal or necessary.
Being stainless steel, they have a very long lifespan and not only lower the temperature of a site but also provide air movement to decrease condensation without compromising hygiene standards.
Fanquip’s completely stainless steel air circu- lators include stainless steel guards, stainless steel motors and stainless steel brackets for complete rust proofing and cleanliness.
Any components that are not stainless steel are made of inert plastic, so as to com- pletely eliminate any potential to cause con- tamination to the product it is working around. Blade diameters available are 460mm, 630mm and 810mm.
These units are believed to possess the highest air output of any air circulator on the Australian market, the company said.
.The technology is rated as IP56 (for 240V) and IP69 (for 415V) hose proof, therefore allowing the operator to make a complete wash down of the equipment at regular intervals without causing any damage to it whatsoever.
The hosing aspect enables Fanquip stainless steel air circulators to have a long

lifespan. It is a completely relocatable product, therefore allowing the user to reposition the item as often as necessary to where it is most effective.
This makes the Fanquip air circulator the ob- vious solution;and to have the
advantage of stainless-steel that lasts for years is a major asset to any operation.
