DIRECT Edge Manufacturing provides an innovative one- stop shop for all sheetmetal manufacturing & associated com- ponents. Operating across 4 buildings in South Burnie, we cut, punch, bend, roll, weld, drill & tap, deburr, grind, sand- blast, paint and package over 100,000 assembled units per annum. Our core specialty is with sheetmetal fabrication of thicknesses up to 12mm. Our production line and workflow has been built around creating multiple products, with multi- ple due dates, for multiple customers whilst maintaining qual- ity and DIFOT. Supplying ready to assemble components to any product line, Direct Edge Manufacturing has a proven 98 per cent DIFOT over the past three years into the global mar- ket and can be a trusted supply chain partner.
We offer a range of services from design and drafting, proto- type assembly, varied production quantities, quality assurance testing, final assembly and powder coating as we have demon- strated working with a with a variety of industry sectors.
We utilise a fully integrated ERP system to control qual- ity, workflow, product identification, delivery & resource allocation. We will work with customers to determine the most efficient process for submitting orders and other lines of communication.
We currently service the mining, marine, Emergency Ser- vices, agricultural, construction, defence & food industries. Our expertise is not limited to any particular industry as we have proven over the last couple of years.
