MELROSE GROUP CEO
Nathan Cheong was appointed Melrose Group CEO in September to lead Melrose Health and Orchard Wellbeing Foods. He has worked in the complementary medicine industry for more than 20 years, most recently as CEO of LifeSpace Group. Cheong is a degree qualified naturopath and medical herbalist and has worked for Vita Life Sciences, Blackmores BioCeuticals, and Designs for Health (USA).
Melrose Group executive director Angus Douglass said Cheong’s deep understanding of the industry and science led innovation will be key to driving the company’s growth plans.
SCOTT HADLEY
TASFOODS CEO
Scott Hadley, former CEO of Asahi Beverages Alcohol (he left the company in January), was appointed CEO of Tasmanian food and beverage company TasFoods. Hadley was with Asahi Beverages for nine years and CEO of its Alcohol division for almost seven years.
SHONA CROUCHER
TASFOODS CFO
In October, TasFoods announced Shona Croucher as its new CFO.
Croucher was previously CFO and director of finance and people at Bellamy’s Organic for seven years. She has more than 16 years’ experience in taxation, corporate business advisory and business evaluation.
ANNETTE KARANTONI
WOOLWORTHS SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER AND PRIMARY CONNECT MD
Annette Karantoni was at the forefront of Woolworths Group’s development and investment blueprint for its supply chain network, and had also held senior roles in supermarkets buying, marketing and replenishment.
Currently director of B2C ecommerce, she will move into the roles and join the executive committee in the new year.
DANNY CELONI
CUB CEO
Danny Celoni announced in October he would be stepping down as CEO of PepsiCo Australia to take up the position of CEO at Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) from February 2022. Prior to PepsiCo, Celoni worked at Diageo for almost 17 years. CUB parent company Asahi Beverages CEO Robert Iervasi said Celoni had built a formidable reputation in the beverage sector. ✷
