Epson launches suite of solutions

Epson Australia had a suite of new digital print production solutions on
its PacPrint booth, covering labels, wide format and direct to fabric printing.
Among the many solutions on display was the SurePress L-4733AW water-based, resin ink, digital label press, which Epson says continues its legacy of providing white ink prime label printing, while delivering improved automation.
For the first time in Australia, Epson Australia presented opportunities, applications and samples on its new Monna Lisa ML-8000 direct-to-fabric textile printer. One of the key products Epson

featured on the stand was the large 76” SureColor F10060, aimed at soft signage and just-in-time manufacturing. It comes in four-colour and six- colour configurations, with up to six high-speed print heads
that enable production speeds of 200sqm an hour.

for printing outdoor signage, premium packaging. 21

MPie was highlighting its variable data print solution, uDirect, for
automating the production of personalised print campaigns, enabling print businesses to offer cross media campaigns to their clients.
It says that with uDirect, businesses of all sizes can create and produce graphically rich documents, individualised, using a single “easy-to-use” desktop VDP solution. 21

CMYKhub was showcasing its Design Desk online subscription, graphic
design and prepress platform, which it says will enable print businesses to outsource the functions on demand.

Desk aims to provide the print industry with access to a whole team of graphic designers and prepress operators at the click of a button. It says this service fills the void left post-pandemic of many creative staff that
were forced to move on, or
reduce their hours, in the wake of business downturn. Design Desk has also provided many businesses, including designers and creative agencies, the ability to scale quickly at a low cost. The multi-level monthly subscription web platform connects the Australian print businesses to CMYKhub’s team of qualified designers. Users select from the list of services, whether it be adding bleed to existing artwork, or creating a printed product from scratch. 21
