AREA OF INTEREST IN DEFENCE
Leonardo Australia is interested in all areas of Defence and Aerospace, with a focus on Naval Systems including all sensors, communications and control management. The intention is to expand within this sector to become the baseline reference for Naval Communications in Oceania. In addition, and through Partech Systems, Leonardo Australia is pursuing further opportunities with all Air platforms such as the F35.
Leonardo Australia is interested in expanding its involvement within Sea1442 and moving forward to complete the execution of the acquisition. Next step is to expand into the Support Contract. Additionally,LeonardoAustralia wouldliketosupport the Continuous Naval Shipbuilding Plan through the provision
of world leading Naval System Capabilities. Programs such as Sea 1442 Ph 5, Sea5000 and Sea1000 continue to be of distinct interest from a Naval electronics point of view, whereas Land 400, Land 200, JP 2072, JP 9101, JP9347 and Land 121 are the main focus for Land target programmes.
Avionic Programmes such as F35 are of interest to help in their support and NFF.
Helicopter Programs such as JP2097, Land 4053 and Search and Rescue operators such as AMSA and beyond. Medical evacuation and other civil VIP customer sectors. Looking to branch out to establish a Regional Hub of Excellence for support in the larger Region of Oceania.
