CURRENT DEFENCE CONTRACTS
To date, the team at Customs Agency Services have successfully delivered on 54 Defence & Aerospace programs. These range from Land, Air and Sea; and most recently, Space related projects. As an example, we are currently 70 per cent of our way through an $55 million, international logistics spend with a Land based Defence contract. We also have a deep understanding of Naval shipbuilding logistics, having supported the LHD, AWD and OPV ship builds. For our Defence and Aerospace customers, we have successfully operated a 24/7 Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support desk for
over 20 years. Our logistics services and solutions are both international and domestic.
AREAS OF INTEREST IN DEFENCE
Our current focus is positioning and preparing ourselves for major Naval and Land opportunities. Being headquartered 30 minutes from Australia's Naval shipbuilding hub at Osborne, Adelaide, positions
us well for supporting Australia's continuous shipbuilding programs. Having said that, over half of our Defence & Aerospace business
is now Australia wide. Our highly trained team of 40 staff, based
in our control tower in Adelaide, support our customers across Australia and the world. Even though we are an SME, we regularly travel Australia and the world to service existing customers, and meet potential new customers. We are ITAR and Cyber aware, with continuous training and upgrading in these vital areas. Lloyds of London’s Australian subsidiary, have awarded us as both Australia’s leading Freight Forwarder and also leading Customs Broker.
