Single and two-zone models maintain balanced airflow that evenly cook every piece of product, regardless of its position on the conveyor.
The two-zone cooking control of the Spiral Oven evenly distributes the cooking atmosphere in a 360o pattern around the product conveyor, resulting in a consistent finish.
All spiral ovens also feature automated clean-in-place and continuous belt washing systems.
MULTI-PURPOSE OVENS
Consumers today are seeking a wide variety of RTE products, so processors need the flexibility to cook a wide range of products on one oven, according to Pyne. With this in mind, Heat and Control has created its MPO (Multi-Purpose Oven) which can cook poultry, beef, pork, and seafood, as well as vegetable and filled products.
Cooking parameters for a variety of products can be quickly recalled with an optional menu-driven PLC control system.
The MPO’s cooking process has been specially designed to preserve more of the original moisture content and flavour of foods. The MPO enables
sealing in natural moisture and flavour without oxidation or dehydration.
FRYING SYSTEMS
One way to prevent costly product recalls is to use frying systems which have precise temperature control and conveyor speed to consistently

The Mastermatic Fryers also use low oil volume, providing fast oil turnover rates resulting in fresh, high quality products with a longer shelf life.
BRANDING AND SEARING
A sought after effect for RTE is a seared or grilled finish, and Pyne says Heat and Control’s Rotary Brander, or the combined Searer/Rotary Brander, can apply grill marks that differentiate products.
The open flame Rotary Brander is gas-fired, and actually grills the food for greater authenticity.
