                 Motio’s Director of Good-times
We look at our furry friends across the advertising, adtech, marketing and media sector, shedding a light on these stars and how they help adland get results. This month we speak to Bob, DOG (Director of Good- times) at Motio.
Picture This
Time in current role/time at the company:
Thirteen months.
How would you describe
what the company does?
Motio is a leading place-based and location intelligence media company focused on creating memorable brand and customer experiences all over Australia. They also have great doggo treats so that's a bonus.
What do you do day to day?
I wander around and chase toys mainly. Don't tell the boss but sometimes you'll catch me sleeping under the desk ... they work me like a dog so it's only fair.
Define your job in one word:
Woof.
I got into advertising because:
Guard dogs do a great job, but
I was looking for a fresh challenge.
Who is your right-hand person?
Michael Johnstone and Adam Cadwallader always put a caring arm around my shoulder. I’m grateful for their mentorship.
Whose job have you set your sights on in the future?
Not looking too far ahead, but always open to offers that will help my personal growth.
Where do you turn for inspiration? My namesake, Bob Iger. “In Bob We Trust” — a life motto if ever there was one. Am I wrong?
My favourite advert is: Tooheys’ new “Guide Dog”. It was a great
joke executed well with appropriate brand fit. Rexy down at the dog park always raves about it too.
My best trick is: I avoid tricks in fear of being a cliche, but occasionally
I give a paw-five to lift office morale.
