CURRENT DEFENCE CONTRACTS
• Sea3036 Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement (PPB-R) Project comprising 21 x 39.5 metre Guardian-class Patrol Boats (GCPB's) under construction in Henderson, Western Australia for the Commonwealth of Australia. Eight GCPB's have been delivered since December 2018 (as at November 2020).
• Two 58 metre Cape Class Patrol Boats (CCPB's) for Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard are under construction at Henderson, Western Australia.
• Six 58 metre Cape Class Patrol Boats (CCPB's) for the Royal Australian Navy are under construction at Henderson, Western Australia
• Cape Class Patrol Boat In-Service Support for the Australian Border Force (8 x CCPB's) continues.
• Cape Class Patrol Boat In-Service Support for the Royal Australian Navy (2 x CCPB's) continues.
AREAS OF INTEREST IN DEFENCE
• Austal continues to pursue multiple new defence export opportunities and technologies (such as autonomous vessels), across a wide variety of platforms, including patrol boats, offshore patrol vessels, high speed support vessels and larger warships for clients and prospective clients, worldwide.

will be built in Australia in Queanbeyan, NSW and Hume, ACT.
• Land 400 PHASE 3 IFV: Team Redback (Hanwha Defence
Australia and EOS) is currently contracted to participate in the Risk Mitigation Activity phase of the project. Hanwha’s AS21 Redback armoured vehicle will be equipped with EOS’ advanced T2000 turret to provide mounted close combat capability. Land 400 Phase 3 will deliver up to 450 infantry fighting vehicles and 17 support vehicles from 2024/25 onwards. The project’s RFT also mandated that all tenderers are to incorporate information for the EOS RWS into their responses.
• C4 EDGE: EOS is the lead partner for the C4 EDGE
(Evolutionary Digital Ground Environment) a Communications Program bringing together 23 Australian sovereign C4 (command control communications and computers) subject matter experts leveraging internationally agreed upon standards to scope a proof of concept demonstration of a sovereign land battlegroup and below communications environment for the Australian Army by the end of 2021.
OVERSEAS
• EOS has an extensive list of foreign contracts with over 1,500 systems in service around the world. The acquisition and sustainment of foreign systems brings AU$160 million annually into the Australian economy.
SPACE
• EOS (through its Space Systems subsidiary) has been awarded a AU$5.1 million contract by the Australian Department of Defence for technical development. The contract commenced in Q4 2020 and will run for two years.
• EOS also has a current contract for the provision of space domain awareness data to the RAAF.
COMMUNICATIONS
• The provision of quality naval satellite communications equipment is critical to support the Continuous Ship Building Program. The Cobra X/Ka Triband Maritime Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Terminal has already been delivered for Sea1654 and the first tranche of Sea1180. EOS (through EM Solutions) has been contracted by the Defence Innovation Hub to develop a larger terminal with a view to develop a primary SATCOM terminal required to support Sea5000 noting the current Cobra terminal already supports alternate SATCOM requirements on these larger vessels.

CURRENT DEFENCE CONTRACTS
DEFENCE AUSTRALIA
• EOS has over 230 R400 remote weapon systems (RWS) currently
in-service with Australia’s combat forces. Sustainment and spare
parts for these systems is provided by EOS.
• Land 400 Phase 2 CRV: Supply of 84 EOS R400 RWS for use on
the Boxer combat reconnaissance vehicle.
• PMV Lethality upgrade: Supply of 251 EOS R400 RWS for use
on the Bushmaster and Hawkei protected mobility vehicles. 40 RWS are scheduled for delivery in Q4 2020 with the remainder to be delivered in 2021. This contract will assist in securing EOS’ Australian supply chain consisting of 146 SMEs and over
