DST DRYER IS a world leader in desiccant dehu- midification technology.
Seibu Giken of Japan – the parent company of DST – is the inventor of the Silica gel desiccant rotor. Since 1986 our engineers have offered
desiccant design solutions in Australia to :
• Control Humidity
• Prevent condensation and frost
• Save energy
• Prevent corrosion
VAV diffusers
for stability
SMARTAIR DIFFUSION DIRECTOR, Sean Badenhorst, will introduce attendees to the patents-pending, low profile Helical Vari-Swirl elec- tronic VAV diffuser.
It provides stable room temperature control independent of supply air temperature and pressure variations, enhances thermal comfort, im- proves energy efficiency, elevates indoor air quality, and increases flexi- bility to tenancy changes.
When combined with the optional Vari-Smart Controller, AHU supply air temperature and pressure are incrementally reset to achieve balance between fan energy, cooling plant energy, dehumidification, space venti- lation, competing thermal zones and zone over-cooling/heating.
On display at ARBS will be:
• World-first closed system desiccant dehumid-
ifier Frigosorb modle F31
• latest desiccant rotor DMAx by Parent com-
pany Seibu Giken – producing an average of 20% better efficiency than other leading dehu- midifiers at 20C 40%rh
• Full SS model RL071LR with several benefits over older design desiccants. Check it out.
  Heat exchanger innovation
AS PART OF the exhibitor presentation series, Alfa Laval, will deliver a session on accelerating sustainability with heat exchanger innovation.
It will be presented by Anson John, refrigeration industry manager & Suria Moodley, HVAC industry manager for Alfa Laval Australia.
The transition to low GWP and natural refrigerants poses challenges for system builders and refrigeration contractors having to balance higher cost, safety, and technical requirements. For HVAC, net zero strategies drive the focus on energy efficiency in building and construc- tion. Alfa Laval has been advancing the development of heat transfer technologies for nearly 90 years.
Attendees of this session will learn how to deliver higher energy effi- ciency, and reduce their carbon footprint with waste heat recovery and utilising the latest heat exchangers.
Discover the importance of certified performance, and how Alfa Laval addresses the industry’s requirements for larger, high-pressure systems that work with lower refrigerant charges.
Optimised economiser operation is also provided, and mass-balance
determined ventilation rates combined with both zone- and system-lev-
el demand control ventilation to achieve further energy savings and in-
door air quality enhancements. Alfa Laval heat exchangers.
