       Australian Refrigeration Council
STAND NUMBER 328
THE AUSTRALIAN REFRIGERATION Council (ARC) will be on Stand 328 to talk about all the latest training materials, handling of new gases, and improved permit application systems.
As the national licensing body for the RAC industry, ARC recently partnered with Refriger- ants Australia and selected TAFE Colleges to develop a set of free A2/A2L refrigerant training resources and assessment materials.
Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) can download the materials free of charge from the arcltd.org.au website, and there will be sam- ple copies at ARBS for RTOs to see what they’ll be getting.
In 2018, ARC created a unit of competency for A2/A2L refrigerants, and these new resources build upon that unit of competency to assist RTOs in successfully teaching students about
A2/A2L refrigerants, in particular, R32, which is quickly rising in popularity.
The resources and assessment materials are Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) endorsed to provide confidence for training pro- viders and students alike.
ARC can also explain the voluntary ARC Green Scheme Accreditation program, which is the only national accreditation available for technicians to demonstrate they are qualified to work with natural refrigerants.
Also coming from ARC is a new online application and renewal process that will make it simpler to apply for your licence. You will be able to upload qualifications and photographs with your applica- tion, and then finalise payment by credit card online.
Scheduled trials will begin soon. See you at Stand 328.
                   Automatic Heating
 STAND NUMBER 751-753
AUTOMATIC HEATING, SPECIAL- ISTS in heating and hot water systems for over 95 years, are pleased to exhibit their sustainable solutions at ARBS 2022.
Leading the way is the Revere 80kW heat pump, an electric solution employed in several award-winning sustainability projects. Revere’s unique capacity to pro- duce up to 90-degree hot water makes it suitable for a wide range of commercial and residential projects.
Utilising natural refrigerant, the Revere 80Y heat pump offers GWP of 1, providing ecological and economical efficiencies and the ability to achieve net-zero and carbon-neutral project outcomes.
Automatic Heating will also showcase
their energy saving Condensing Water Heaters.
The new Meridian Condensing Water Heater will be displayed on the stand.
Automatic Heating director Terry Plaisted said the company is excited to present the next generation Meridian at ARBS 2022.
“With more features and efficiencies, the Meridian floor standing unit will be previewed for the first time so visitors can see the unit up close,” he said.
“We’ll also have the Modulex EXT on show, the most efficient condensing wa- ter heater on the market,” Plaisted added.
