CAPABILITIES: Air Affairs Australia (AAA) is the OEM for several aerial target products including the Phoenix Target Drone. The UAV target sys- tem has been developed specifically for Defence training applications. It provides a mid-performance solution for air defence missile systems and ground based gun systems. The Phoenix Target Drone was con- ceived, designed and is fully manufactured in Australia by AAA. The ground control station, drone launcher system and support equipment were designed and manufactured by AAA. The S-100 is a prov- en capability for military and civilian applications. The Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) UAV needs no prepared area or supporting launch or recov- ery equipment. It operates day and night, under adverse weather condi- tions, with a beyond line-of-sight capability out to 200 km, on land and at sea.
